For who is the Children at Risk School?

 

The Children at Risk School is in the first place for those who have completed a Discipleship Training School. (DTS) This is the basic school of YWAM and the University of the Nations. For a complete list of places where you can do your DTS, please see the YWAM Website https://ywam.org/

Once, having completed your DTS, you can apply to become staff with YWAM in 190 different countries of the world. In most of these countries, there are children in vulnerable situations, or children at risk. So, it is a good next step, after you have done your DTS, to come and apply for a Children at Risk School.

But if you are working with  a church or another Christian mission organization than YWAM,  and you have a commitment to work at least another year full time with children at risk with that church or organization, we may consider making an exception for you, to follow the theoretical 3 months, without having done the DTS first.
